Operations Team
Niladri has more than 11 years’ work experience in the IT/ITeS industry. Prior to establishing Alchemy, he worked as a Senior Manager at RocSearch, one of the top outsourcing companies in India. Niladri has considerable experience in business development and operational delivery in the knowledge outsourcing space, having set up offshore delivery teams for clients across the globe. He has also worked with a number of overseas SMEs to devise their market entry strategy into India. An alumnus of IMT Ghaziabad, he completed his MBA specialising in Finance after graduating in Mechanical Engineering from the Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU), Karnataka.
Tapas has over 12 years’ experience in research, spanning domains of socio-economics, energy, and financial services, among others. Before joining Alchemy, Tapas was in a project management role at GlobalData’s insurance product line under financial services vertical. In this role, he was part of conceptualisation and development of insurance market research reports, ad hoc custom research reports as well as the launch of new products in the workstream. His other research interests include energy economics, behavioural economics and predictive modelling. An alumnus of Jamia Millia Islamia University, he completed his Master’s degree in Economics.
Abhisek has more than 8 years’ experience in the research industry. He has been involved in projects requiring strategic planning and business analysis for clients in the consulting and investment banking domains. Abhisek has worked extensively in consumer goods, healthcare, technology and industrials sectors, leading multi-disciplinary teams of analysts. Abhisek has an engineering degree in Computer Science from Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU), Karnataka followed by an MBA from GEMS B-SCHOOL (Bangalore), South Asia University, UK majoring in Finance.
Subhankar has more than 10 years of experience in Financial Research, Investment Banking, and Equity Research. He is adept at developing Financial Models, Business Valuations, Financial Research Reports, CIM, Teasers, Industry Research Reports, and other marketing collaterals for various transactions. He has led the execution of complex buy-side, sell-side, and fundraising activities, and assisted clients in raising Equity and Debt funds of more than $10 million. He has proven expertise in managing M&A transactions.
Subhankar holds a Master’s Degree in Commerce from the University of Calcutta and has worked with LSI Financial Services, Substance Advisory, Ematrix Knowledge Processing Solution, and Zacks Investment Research.
Madhurima has more than 12 years of experience in business research and market intelligence. Before joining Alchemy, she was working as a Project Manager with Netscribes where she was simultaneously managing multiple projects across verticals including ICT, insurance, retail etc. She specializes in IT research, having worked with various independent software vendors and IT services vendors as clients throughout her career. She holds a bachelor’s degree in English from the University of Calcutta and a postgraduate in business management from the Indian Institute of Social Welfare and Business Management (IISWBM).
Sourav is responsible for growing Alchemy’s global business portfolio. Sourav has a proven track record of both conceptualizing and implementing marketing and sales strategies.He has more than 13 years’ experience in Marketing and Business Development. He has been associated with Alchemy for more than 4 years now, where he was involved in marketing Alchemy’s offerings to boutique Investment Banking, Corporate Finance companies and Private Equity firms in the US, Canada and the UK. Sourav has a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Bangalore University and completed his MBA from SriSIM, New Delhi majoring in Marketing Management.

Priyanshu has hands on experience in M&A, fund raising and growth advisory related to technology companies in Europe. Previously, he worked in the corporate finance department of Cisco Systems, on projects related to performance management, operational efficiency, channel management and restructuring and also with Tata Consultancy Services, where he helped Fortune 100 clients in telecommunications and data services sectors with enterprise technology implementation. He holds a double master’s degree in inance/international business from the University of St. Gallen/Grenoble Ecole de Management and bachelors in mechanical engineering from Cochin University of Science and Technology.
Manik has more than 27 years of combined experience across core IT and business process modeling and development with various multinationals in South Asia, West Europe and Gulf region. He specialises in formulating location and relocation strategies for a wide range of industries. As an International Business Development Consultant in the Gulf Region, he has worked extensively with the operational delivery teams of a number of Japanese and Korean ‘project giants’. He has also worked with the European Commission, Levi’s Strauss Europe, MSD Europe, HP Belgium and Daimler Chrysler UK.He is an alumnus of VUB (Vrije Universiteit Brussels), Belgium from where he completed his M.Tech. in IT and M.A. in Industrial Location and Development. He also has a Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Application from RCC, Jadavpur besides an M.Sc. in Applied Physics and Electronics.
Nilay has over 12 years’ experience in the power, automation and oil and gas sectors. He presently heads the sales function for Thomas & Betts (an ABB subsidiary) in Oman. Prior to that, Nilay worked in companies such as Al Ibram, Bahwan Engineering Co. and ABB. He has extensive experience in sales, marketing, business development and key account management, with a focus on the GCC region. At Alchemy, Nilay serves as an External Advisor for BD activities in the Middle East region. An alumnus of Jadavpur University, he graduated in Electrical Engineering.
